Racine, WI

A true collaborative effort between Owner, Architect and Builder combined several historic buildings into one new landmark building. Additions from the 1960’s were removed and an L-shaped glass enclosure was constructed around a new courtyard, defining the entryway and allowing views to the museum’s interior.

This project received numerous American Institute of Architects (AIA) Design Excellence Awards:

  • Divine Detail Award, Honor Award
  • Sustainable Design Award, Special Recognition for Downtown Revitalization
  • Distinguished Building Award, Citation of Merit
  • Interior Architecture Award, Honor Award
